Last Thursday at work, I was in the stock room and I heard a customer talking to her kid and saying about asking the shop assistant where the bathrooms were.  So I walked out of the stock room and showed the kid where the toilets were.  As I walked back towards the stock room I heard the lady calling out to her kid, I realised then it was Lucy Lawless!!  She seemed a little worried and I told her that her son had just gone to the bathroom.  She looked freaked out and left our shop to find him.  I'm sure I went to the toilet by myself when I was 5.  I then waited all day to see if she was gonna lay down the Xena on my ass.

YOU SUCK was definately one of the biggest chants through Wellington's Westpac Stadium (thats the Caketin to you and me) last Saturday night.  The WWE superstars of Smackdown came for a show.  This was probably the greatest live event I have ever been to.  There were superstars like the Undertaker, Chris Benoit, Rey Mysterio, Randy Orton, and Kurt Angle.

 

Matt, Alex, Fats and I drove down to Turangi and stayed Friday night, then on Saturday made our way the rest of the way to Wellington.  The weather had been attrocious on Friday night in Wellington, but Saturday was alright, just frickin freezing.  The wrestling was on Saturday night and it rocked the park.  Sunday we had a look around Wellington, into Te Papa, the national museum, where there were Japanese drumming and kendo demonstrations.  Overall it was an awesome weekend.  Oh yeah, and it's my birthday today, whoopde do.

 

 

Yesterday a couple of us went out to Devonport on the North Shore for a swim, but the tide was out it was kinda cloudy.  So we went to the top of North Head and just sat there eating lollies and talked for a few hours.  It was so good to just relax and chill out.  Later we left the hill and saw that the tide was high, so we went to the beach and there was this pontoon which was so cool.  After our swim we went out into the township and got some fish and chips for dinner and got ready to watch the airshow and the fireworks.  The airshow was somewhat dissappointing, there were 4 planes flying in formation and that was it, but then once it was dark the fireworks started and they have got to be the best I've ever seen!  We had the wickedest view over the harbour into the city where they were being let off.  Did anyone else happen to see them?
